Logistics Manager (M/F)

Our client is a creative and ambitious high-end event catering company, renowned for its innovative approach, operational excellence, and strong growth.

In this dynamic environment, we are recruiting a Logistics Manager to support the Operations Director and structure the entire logistics chain.

👉 A central, strategic, and highly operational role, at the heart of the business.

The Role

As Logistics Manager, you will oversee the warehouse, manage internal and external logistics flows, and ensure the availability, reliability, and quality of equipment for 5 to 20 events per day.

Your main mission: to secure, optimize, and professionalize the entire logistics chain, with a strong focus on performance, cost control, and outstanding service quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Structuring & Management

• Organize warehouse operations: storage, flows, cleanliness, safety

• Implement procedures, standards, inventories, and loss/breakage controls

• Optimize logistics costs (transport, consumables, maintenance)

• Monitor performance through KPIs, dashboards, and incident analysis

2. Event Logistics Coordination

• Plan and prepare equipment for events

• Manage the vehicle fleet (up to 20 trucks per day)

• Organize and supervise loading/unloading operations

• Ensure departure compliance (quality, timing, equipment)

• Manage after-service logistics: returns, disputes, breakage, losses

3. Team Management & Coordination

• Supervise and organize the work of a team of approximately 10 people

• Participate in recruitment and training of staff and temporary workers

• Develop skills and implement clear operational standards

• Work closely with kitchen teams, project managers, and field teams

4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Produce regular reports

• Propose concrete improvements to processes, organization, and equipment

• Actively contribute to logistics investment decisions

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in operational logistics (event, catering, or similar environment strongly preferred)

• Experience managing a warehouse or operational logistics department

• Strong skills in stock management, logistics planning, and handling

• Comfortable with digital tools

• Structured, organized, and communicative manager

• Key qualities: rigor, attention to detail, reactivity, anticipation

• Valid driver’s license (B) required (C license or CACES certification a plus)

Conditions & Benefits

• Contract: Permanent (CDI) – long-term vision (minimum 4 years)

• Availability: ASAP (notice period accepted up to 2 months maximum)

• Full-time: 39 hours or package depending on profile

• Management status – renewable 4-month probation period

• Salary: €35K–€50K gross per year depending on experience and profile

• Working hours: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (on-call availability outside warehouse hours required)
