Job Description
RHEA, a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality and Catering, is looking for a Head Housekeeper / Laundry Manager for one of its clients, an exceptional luxury estate located in Provence.
Located within an ultra-luxury private estate dedicated exclusively to VIP stays and events, comprising three luxurious houses and an apartment with a total of eighteen suites and rooms,

Your Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the laundry department with up to 3 assistants.

Manage all guest laundry: washing, hand ironing, steam ironing, and care of delicate garments, children’s clothing, and sportswear.

Ensure the maintenance of bed linen and all restaurant textiles: aprons, service cloths, and cleaning cloths.

Maintain the highest standards for laundry and follow strict procedures to ensure each item is returned to the correct room.

Organize pickups and deliveries with an external laundry service, controlling the quality and quantity of items sent and received.

Train and support your team, implement efficient systems, and maintain communication with the Housekeeper and House Manager.
Profile Required:

Experience handling laundry in private homes or 4-star hotels.

Excellent ironing (including semi-industrial) and stain removal skills.

Strong organizational skills and autonomy.

Ability to work 5 weeks with one day off per week.

Non-smoker preferred.

Bilingual in English/French appreciated.

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required.

Period: Mid-June to early August, seasonal contract

The company also offers a short contract from mid-March to mid-April as a trial before the summer season, if suitable
