Job Description:
- Responsible for the cuisine of the Asian restaurant.
- Proficient in a variety of Asian dishes, including sushi, covering regions from Japan to Southeast Asia.
- Ensures daily food production meets high-quality standards in line with hotel norms.
- Ensures adherence to standard recipes and presentation guidelines at all times.
- Provides recipes and costings to the executive chef as required.
- Assists and proposes special food promotions, events, and other food-related activities for the outlet.
Professional Experience:
- Appropriate culinary arts education.
- Strong experience, particularly in Asian cuisine.
- Interpersonal skills, time management, and effective communication abilities.
Conditions:
- Contract Duration: 2 years
- Basic Salary: $2,500.00 USD per month
- Bonus: At the owner’s discretion based on performance
- Annual Leave: 30 days with an Economy class airfare ticket
- RDO: 1 day off per week
- Public Holidays: 11 days per year
- Rest and Recreation (R&R):
- 1x 7 days per year
- 1x $400.00 USD per year
- Service Charge: Average of $1,500.00 USD based on 2023 results, subject to variation
- Steward Sales: $100.00 USD per month
- F&B Rights: At the Ambassador’s cafeteria
- Relocation: $750.00 USD
- Accommodation: Twin sharing fully furnished accommodation at the Resort
- Health Insurance Package offered for a single individual only (no option to bring family) Contract Start Date: As soon as possible
