BAKER (M/F) USA
Based in the United States, this family-owned group of artisanal bakeries and patisseries, which we have proudly supported for 8 years, is renowned for the excellence of its products. Combining French know-how with boundless creativity, their creations are made from fresh, organic, local, and seasonal ingredients. It’s the ideal setting for passionate gastronomy professionals looking to take part in a culinary adventure inspired by French tradition while exploring new flavors.
Under the supervision of the French pastry chef, your main Missions and Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the production, finishing, and baking of various breads and viennoiseries in the appropriate quantities.
- Mastering all stages of bread production following technical sheets (kneading, shaping, dividing).
- Ensuring the quality control of products (averaging 10,000 breads/week plus viennoiseries).
- Participating in the preparation, finishing, and baking of products.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and expiration dates (DLC).
- Cleaning the bakery in its entirety.
Your primary mission is the production of breads and viennoiseries according to order quantities. Strong knowledge of both traditional and specialty breads is required for product development.

Conditions:
VISA: The current cost of the visa is $2,500 and $500 in taxes, paid by the candidate, but reimbursed as follows: 100% reimbursed in the first year – $250 per month.
Start Date: As soon as possible (allow approximately 1.5 months for obtaining the J1 visa).
- Your salary will be $48,000.00 per year (before taxes) plus housing covered by the company up to $9,000.00 or a room in a private house if available in the shared accommodation -> total package of $57,000.00 per year.
- Health insurance at 50% coverage with the Kaiser provider.
- You will have 2 weeks of paid vacation per year, varying by year.
- 20% discount on boutique products.
- One meal per day at your workplace covered.
The round-trip airfare is covered by the company.
Work: 5 days a week, with shifts from 2 PM to 10:30 PM.
Days Off: Two consecutive days.
Contract: 1 year to start.
