As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bakery products alongside your colleagues (Current team of 4 people, expanding to 7/8 members).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to handle mixing, weighing, dividing, shaping, baking in deck ovens, and ventilating.
- Able to produce viennoiserie and experienced in using a dough sheeter.
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items such as bread and pastries.
- Follow recipes and appropriate baking techniques.
- Ensure product quality and freshness while adhering to food hygiene standards.
- Manage stock and ingredient orders necessary for production.
- Clean and maintain bakery equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in baking is required, with a minimum of 3 years.
- Excellent food handling skills and adherence to food hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality of finished products.
Profile:
- Experience working in a bakery during night/day shifts.
- Capable of handling volume => brands like Paul, Eric Kayser, Boulangerie Ange, Louise, Sophie Lebreuilly.
- Significant experience in a retail/lab environment (not necessarily in hospitality).
- Ideally, comfortable with English (basic++ is acceptable).
