Position: Sous Chef (M/F) – Paris

We are recruiting for a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris (1*) open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, both lunch and dinner.

Under the direction of the Chef-Owner, you will work closely alongside him in developing the menu. Creativity is a key requirement for this role, as the restaurant’s ambition is to obtain a second Michelin star. The kitchen team currently consists of 5 people, with the potential to grow to 6 or 7 depending on performance. The group also has plans for international expansion.

The Restaurant:

  • Open kitchen concept

  • Tasting menus in 5 and 7 courses, frequently renewed

  • Average check: €220

  • Around 15–20 covers per service

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Chef-Owner on menu creation and innovation

  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and timely service

  • Recruit, train, and lead your team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment

  • Enforce hygiene regulations and HACCP procedures

  • Manage orders, stock, and control costs to ensure profitability

  • Contribute to guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional dining experience

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong mastery of classical cooking techniques

  • Guest-oriented mindset and comfortable with digital tools

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff

  • Genuine passion for gastronomy and the ambition to contribute to a Michelin-level project

Conditions & Benefits:

  • Annual closures: 3 weeks in August, Christmas and New Year’s

  • Weekly days off: Saturday and Sunday (2 consecutive days)

  • Salary: €3,500–€3,800 net/month + tips (approx. €800/month)

  • Start date: ASAP
