Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a recruitment agency specializing in hospitality and catering, is looking for one of its clients HEAD CHEF (M/F)

Ideally located in Paris, this 4-star hotel, comprising 120 rooms, a restaurant with 45 seats, seminar rooms (60 seats), and a 20-seat speakeasy bar.

The NEO BRASSERIE-style restaurant offers a creative menu focused on the sea, with North American cuisine (Lobster rolls style).

Reporting to the establishment’s Director, you will be in charge of the food aspect for various outlets in the establishment (restaurant, bar, room service, seminar rooms).

Your team consists of 7/8 people. Everything is new; however, the kitchen is small -> 3-4 people per service.

Profile and expectations:

As Head Chef, you organize and coordinate the work of your team.

You establish the schedule, place orders, manage stocks, ensure the smooth running of the service, and develop menus.

On a daily basis, your personality, your demeanor, and your know-how contribute to customer satisfaction. Adaptability, flexibility;

Characteristics of a “leader” to motivate your teams, a sense of teamwork, and expertise in training;

High degree of professionalism, creativity;

The hotel is looking for someone passionate, creative, and rigorous; your skills make a difference!

Experience in the hotel industry is required.


  • Permanent contract, continuous schedule only (morning is okay but occasional evening presence)
  • Free working days -> possible to have Saturday and Sunday off)
  • Salary: 50-60 K annual plus a 10% bonus and a 13th-month bonus
