Job Description
RHEA, a recruitment firm specializing in the hospitality and restaurant industry, is currently hiring a Head Chef (M/F) for a new Mediterranean Levantine restaurant opening in West Paris in mid-November.
The establishment will initially operate 5 evenings a week, with plans to expand to lunch and dinner service and eventually a 7/7 schedule.
The menu will offer a Levantine culinary experience, providing a unique and memorable moment.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, overseeing the entire kitchen operation, and ensuring that the restaurant reflects the group’s image and spirit.
- You will be building a team of 5 kitchen staff plus 2 dishwashers.
- The estimated service volume is between 140-180 covers, with 140 seats available.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating innovative and seasonal menus, in collaboration with the group’s Executive Chef.
- Supervising and coordinating kitchen activities.
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of the dishes, while adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
- Training and managing kitchen staff to maintain an efficient service.
- Managing food supplies and stock levels.
Skills required:
- Mastery of culinary techniques and creativity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team while ensuring high-quality service.
- Expertise in kitchen management to ensure smooth operations.
- Excellent knowledge of hygiene standards and food handling.
- Familiarity with restaurant industry trends and service.
- Effective leadership to motivate and guide the team.
Conditions:
- Start date: As soon as possible.
- Employment type: Permanent contract (CDI).
- Status: Executive (Cadre).
- Salary: Starting from €4500-4900 gross per month.
