Job Description

RHEA, a recruitment agency specialized in the Hospitality and Catering sectors, is currently seeking a Head Chef (M/F) for a new gastronomic restaurant in a prime location in Paris’s vibrant neighborhood.

About the Restaurant:

  • Operation: Open 7 days a week
  • Sourcing: Focus on short supply chains
  • Average Ticket Price: €85 at lunch, €95 for dinner
  • Covers per service: 50 on average
  • Team: 7 kitchen staff, plus 2 dishwashers (not including apprentices)
  • Service Info:
    • Lunch: 15-20 covers per service
    • Dinner: 50-55 covers
    • Ticket Average:
      • Lunch: €65
      • Dinner: €110-125
    • Seating Capacity: 55
    • Menu: 2 tasting menus (4-course and 6-course)

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team and overseeing kitchen operations.
  • Upholding the brand’s image and culinary ethos.
  • Creating innovative, seasonal menus in collaboration with the group’s executive chef.
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety.
  • Training and mentoring kitchen staff.
  • Managing food supplies and inventory.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in culinary techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Experience supervising kitchen operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Proven experience in high-end restaurant management.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and inspire the team.

Terms:

  • Start Date: Mid-November
  • Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)

  • Salary: From €4,000 net per month
