HEAD CHEF (M/F) – PARIS

We are looking for a passionate Head Chef for a renowned gastronomic institution in Paris. This restaurant is part of a dynamic group with several prestigious addresses in the city, including a Michelin-starred establishment.

The Restaurant:

  • Cuisine Type: High-end gastronomy (not Michelin-starred but focused on excellence).
  • Service Capacity: Approximately 200 covers per service, including regular events and banquets (up to 1,200 covers per week, 180-150 covers for dinner in peak periods, 110-40 for lunch during quiet periods).
  • Team: 2 Head Chefs, 2 Junior Sous-Chefs, Demi Chefs de Partie, and Commis (a 20-person kitchen brigade).
  • Average Spend per Guest: €200
  • Schedule: Open 6 days a week (closed on Sundays).
  • Spacious, fully equipped kitchen (a rare find in Paris!).

Your Role:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a 15-20 person kitchen team.
  • Work closely in tandem with the other Head Chef to ensure quality and smooth service.
  • Oversee ordering, cost control, and quality assurance of all dishes.
  • Supervise the preparation and execution of special events and banquets.
  • Monitor financial targets and ensure cost control is maintained.

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for gastronomic cuisine and a commitment to high standards.
  • Strong leadership, ability to work under pressure, and quick decision-making skills.
  • Motivation to join a prestigious group with potential for career growth.
  • Executive Chef position possible in the near future.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: €4,000 net/month + tips (€200-250/month).
  • Bonus: Based on financial performance and cost management targets.
  • KPIs: Linked to food cost control and overall profitability.
