Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a leading hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency specializing in international placements, is currently seeking a talented and experienced General Manager for one of our prestigious clients in Asia.
We are searching for a highly driven and experienced General Manager to lead this exceptional team, ensure operational excellence, and maintain the high standards required to preserve and enhance the reputation of this 2 Michelin-starred establishment. This restaurant is an exceptional fine-dining destination, currently holding 2 Michelin stars, renowned for its innovative culinary creations and impeccable service.
Note: The individual in this role previously held the position for 6 years.
Position Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader capable of managing the team effectively, maintaining a commitment to exceptional service, and upholding the restaurant’s reputation as a Michelin-starred establishment. The General Manager will supervise all aspects of the guest experience, financial management, and performance to ensure an unforgettable dining experience for the restaurant’s discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring that front-of-house, kitchen, and support teams work seamlessly together.
- Supervise recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for all staff members.
- Provide strategic direction to maintain and elevate the restaurant’s Michelin 2-star status.
Guest Experience
- Ensure an exceptional and personalized dining experience for each guest, from arrival to departure.
- Address guest feedback promptly, resolving any issues while maintaining a focus on exceptional service standards.
- Continually seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience and maintain consistent excellence.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service throughout the restaurant.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to meet or exceed industry standards.
- Manage restaurant finances, including sales, costs, and profitability.
Financial & Business Management
- Drive business performance through effective planning, marketing, and customer engagement strategies.
- Work closely with ownership and management to develop long-term strategies to sustain growth and profitability.
- Monitor and manage operational costs, ensuring compliance with budgets and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with the French Chef and culinary team to ensure that the restaurant’s culinary vision and high standards are consistently executed.
- Maintain clear communication with all staff members, management, and guests, ensuring alignment with restaurant goals and objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within a Michelin-starred restaurant or high-end fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- In-depth knowledge of fine dining operations, exceptional customer service, and luxury guest experiences.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for food, wine, and hospitality, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- 165k salary + 15k accommodation THB net (housing and meals included), equivalent to 5000 net (tax-free).
