Job Description
RHEA, a recruitment agency specialized in the Hospitality and Restaurant industry, is hiring: General Housekeeper (M/F)
Within an ultra-luxury private estate exclusively dedicated to VIP stays and events, comprising three luxurious houses and an apartment totaling eighteen suites and rooms, open from May to the end of August.
Missions: As a manager, you will lead a team of 10 housekeepers in a new private luxury complex in Provence, located in an isolated setting surrounded by vineyards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising a team of 10 chambermaids
- Preparing suites, including setting up all bedroom accessories and managing bed linen
- Participating in recruitment and implementing training in collaboration with the assistant housekeeper
- Orchestrating the daily routine, adapting to the needs of clients and the house, organizing the team, and holding daily meetings
- Ensuring daily checks of common areas and rooms to high standards
- Supervising the laundry with in-depth knowledge of this department
- Controlling linen and product stocks and implementing procedures to maintain equipment
- Overseeing the cleaning of staff accommodations
Profile:
- Proven experience in a similar position within 4-star hotels or large private residences for VVIPs
- Excellent punctuality and advanced planning based on reservations
- Ability to work under the supervision of house managers
- Positive attitude promoting team concentration and unity, creating a good working environment
- Confidence to interact with VVIP clients and good communication skills to work with other departments
- Punctuality, organization, and reliability, with the ability to adhere to a strict confidentiality policy
- Proficiency in French essential, very useful English
Conditions:
- Accommodation provided on-site or off-site (shared villa 15 minutes away by car with other department heads)
- Meals available during working hours
- Salary: €4,500 gross per month
- Starting date: from May to August
- Accommodation provided on-site to start, then shared villa 15 minutes away by car in late June/July
- Lunch or dinner available during service only for guest visits
