Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, an international hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for one of its clients (M/F)

SOMMELIER for a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in Bangkok owned by a well-known Group with establishments in several countries.

The objective is to achieve 3 Michelin stars.

The restaurant offers French cuisine with a Japanese twist, open only in the evenings and closed every Sunday.

Team of 11 staff including 2 sommeliers 12 tables, 1 sommelier manages 6 tables Approximately 30 covers per day Average ticket price 400€/person.

The candidate must have a proven track record in Michelin-starred establishments as well as experience managing a wine list.

Requirements:

  • Customer service and sales
  • Must be perfectly bilingual

This position requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience in oenology or very good knowledge of wine and sales, as well as experience in Michelin-starred establishments.

Conditions

French / minimum 2 to 3 stars in Michelin level 2 and 3 stars

Salary: Approximately 105,000 THB (€2,655-2,750 net) House allowance 15,000 THB (€300-400) Total approximately €3,000

15 days of vacation + 15 public holidays per year

6 working days per week
