SOUS CHEF (M/F) – Paris

Rhea Recruitment supports a well-established neo-gastronomic restaurant located in the heart of Paris, offering a modern cuisine inspired by the Basque Country, focused on fire cooking (wood-fired cuisine) and exceptional products.

Position
As part of its development, our client is looking for a Sous Chef (M/F) to support the Head Chef in the daily management of the kitchen.
- Open kitchen
- Average ticket: €100–150
- 60–70 covers on average, up to 100 covers on Friday and Saturday evenings
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and service
- Supervise the kitchen team in the Chef’s absence
- Team of 5 per service, including one dishwasher
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
- Participate in stock management and inventory
- Contribute to menu creation and development
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a gastronomic restaurant
- Culinary diploma (CAP/BEP or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques
- Attention to detail and presentation
- Team player with strong organizational skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
Conditions
- Permanent contract (CDI equivalent)
- Net salary: €2,700/month
- 5 services per week (evenings only – no split shifts)
- Good work-life balance
- Immediate start (ASAP)
