Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a Hospitality and Catering Recruitment Agency, is looking for a:
Chef Adjoint(H/F) in Paris
One-star Michelin restaurant, open 5/7 days (Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner)
Under the direction of the Chef-owner, you will be in charge of creating the menu in collaboration with him. Creativity is essential for this position, as the establishment aims to achieve a second Michelin star. The kitchen team consists of 5 people, with the potential to grow to 6 or 7 depending on the restaurant’s performance. The company also plans for international expansion.
Restaurant:
- Open kitchen
- Tasting menus with 5 and 7 courses, frequently updated
- Average ticket price: €220
- 15-20 covers per service on average
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in menu creation.
- Ensure the quality of the dishes, maintaining high standards and ensuring proper presentation and timely service.
- Recruit, train, and manage your team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
- Ensure hygiene standards and HACCP processes are followed.
- Manage orders, stocks, and optimize ratios to ensure profitability.
- Contribute actively to customer satisfaction by ensuring impeccable service quality.
Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of culinary fundamentals.
- Client-oriented with good proficiency in computer tools.
- Team management skills and ability to develop your team’s potential.
- Passionate about gastronomy, eager to invest in an ambitious project.
Conditions:
- Annual closure: 3 weeks in August, Christmas, and New Year.
- Time off: 2 consecutive days (Saturday and Sunday).
- Salary: €3500-€3800 net/month, plus tips up to €800/month.
- Start date: ASAP.
