Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a high-end hospitality and catering recruitment agency, is seeking a Head Chef (M/F) for a luxurious 5-star hotel with 85 rooms and suites, ideally located in Paris.
Environment:
The culinary focus is on plant-based, chic bistronomic cuisine. You will feel like you are in a countryside château thanks to the hotel’s bucolic setting and green spaces, including a vegetable garden and greenhouse.
The restaurant is chic and elegant, offering 40 seats indoors and 90 on the terrace, open from Monday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a Sunday brunch barbecue, room service, and event/privatization options.
Profile and Expectations:
As Head Chef, you will organize and coordinate the work of a team of 15 people. You will create schedules, place orders, manage stocks, ensure smooth service operations, and develop menus.
Your personality, expertise, and skills will contribute daily to guest satisfaction. The hotel is looking for someone passionate, creative, and rigorous, with exceptional skills that make a difference.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Develop menus in collaboration with management
- Organize and supervise preparations based on occupancy and consumption forecasts
- Adhere to budgeted productivity ratios
- Implement procedures to reduce food waste and minimize waste
- Conduct inventory and explain consumption discrepancies
- Develop and nurture your team
You will also be the reference point for hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in high-end hospitality is required.
Conditions:
- Salary: €5000-6000 net/month (depending on profile)
- Executive status
- Two consecutive days off
- Position start: ASAP
