Head Chef (M/F) – Central Paris
Join a 600 m² establishment located in the heart of Paris, led by a young owner trained at Ferrandi-Paris, where ingredient quality and simplicity in dishes take center stage.
The restaurant operates exclusively in the evenings and is closed on Mondays. This is a 90-seat dining venue with an adjoining speakeasy, with approximately 50% of the business focused on events.
Venue Details:
- Average Ticket: €25
- Average Weekly Covers: 50 on weekdays, 120 on weekends
- Brand-new kitchen located on the first floor, fully equipped with excellent natural lighting
Your Profile: You have strong experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role in the kitchen. Your strengths include leadership, meticulous organization, and effective team management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Culinary and Quality: Ensure culinary excellence while strictly adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Team Management and Motivation: Lead a team of 4, foster team morale, and integrate new hires effectively.
- Creative Development: Work with management to co-create menus that align with current trends and the restaurant’s positioning.
- Organization and Inventory: Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and ensure accurate monthly stocktaking.
- Customer Relations: Collaborate closely with the front of house to provide a seamless, personalized service.
- Training and Growth: Conduct annual evaluations, set goals, and identify training needs for team development.
Working Conditions:
- Contract Type: Permanent (CDI)
- Hours: Evening service only
- Location: Central Paris
- Salary: €3,000 net per month
- Start Date: ASAP
