HEAD CHEF (M/F) – Paris

Premium establishment – Contemporary gastronomy & cocktail artistry
RHEA is supporting an exceptional venue in the search for its Head Chef, a true creator of culinary experiences and the guardian of a refined gastronomic identity, in harmony with the artistic universe of the venue.
We are looking for an inspired, demanding personality capable of embodying a high level of precision, creativity, and leadership.
🌟 Your mission: elevate the experience
Reporting to the Operations Director and working closely with the Artistic & Concept Director, you will be responsible for the entire culinary identity of the venue.
Creation & Excellence
- Design menus and gastronomic experiences aligned with the DNA of the establishment
- Mastery of cooking techniques, textures, and presentation
- Creative, balanced, and elegant proposals suited to a demanding clientele
Organization & Performance
- Rigorous management of stock, purchasing, and costs
- Monitoring key performance indicators (guest satisfaction, profitability, operational quality)
- Smooth coordination with front-of-house and cocktail bar teams
Management & Team Development
- Supervision of a small brigade: one Chef de Partie and one senior commis chef
- Recruitment, training, team development, and daily leadership
- Creation of a structured, supportive, and excellence-driven work environment
Hygiene & Standards
- Strict application of HACCP standards
- Meticulous maintenance of kitchen spaces and equipment
- Full compliance with quality standards and internal procedures
🍽️ Your playground
- Spacious, fully equipped kitchen located in the basement
- Storage areas allowing efficient and well-anticipated prep
- Service from Tuesday to Saturday
- Last food orders around 11:00 PM
- Evening activity focused on premium sharing finger food
- Volume: 100 to 260 covers on weekend evenings (partially cocktail-only service)
- Three menus recently created with a Chef recommended by a Michelin-starred Chef
👥 Context & start date
The current Head Chef, who has been in the role for 3 years, has chosen to pursue a career change. A temporary Chef (fixed-term contract) is currently ensuring the transition and has co-created the new menus. He will leave mid-April for an already planned project.
A freelance chef may ensure short-term continuity if needed, but the goal is now to recruit a Head Chef who will sustainably carry the culinary identity of the venue.
💼 Package
- Fixed salary: €48K (adjustable for an outstanding profile)
- Executive status
- Working days: Tuesday to Saturday (no split shifts, well-managed schedule)
- Days off: Sunday & Monday
- Benefits: staff meals, laundry service, employee perks on group products and services
