Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a firm specialized in recruitment for the Hospitality and Catering industry, is pleased to present an exceptional opportunity:
HEAD CHEF (M/F) – PARIS
We are looking for a passionate Head Chef for a new festive concept opening in Paris at the end of August / early September. This restaurant is part of a dynamic independent group with several prestigious venues in Paris, including a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The establishment:
- Cuisine: Not Michelin-starred, but high-level with a strong focus on excellence
- Capacity: covers at lunch and 150 covers at dinner per service
- Team: 1 Head Chef, 2 Sous Chefs, Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, and Commis (total of 12 kitchen staff)
- Average ticket: €120
- Schedule: Open 7 days a week
- Kitchen: Fully renovated and perfectly equipped (rare in Paris)
Your role:
- Lead and motivate a team of 12 kitchen staff
- Work closely with the Executive Chef in a strong partnership to ensure smooth and high-quality service
- Manage orders, costs, and food quality
- Oversee the organization of special events and banquets
- Monitor financial objectives and ensure cost control
Profile required:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a dynamic environment
- Passion for both gastronomic and festive cuisine, with a commitment to high standards
- Strong leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and make quick decisions
- Highly motivated to join a prestigious group with real growth opportunities
→ Potential to quickly evolve into an Executive Chef role
Compensation & benefits:
- Salary: €6,000 gross/month + tips (€200–€250/month)
- Bonus: Based on financial performance and achievement of targets (cost control)
- KPIs: Linked to food cost management and profitability
- Start date: ASAP or May, no later than June (with two weeks off in August)
