General Manager – Michelin 2-Star Restaurant

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead this team, ensure operational excellence, and maintain the high standards necessary to uphold and enhance the reputation of this Michelin 2-star restaurant. This establishment is a world-class gastronomic destination, renowned for its innovative culinary creations and impeccable service.
Overview of the Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all restaurant operations. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing the team efficiently, maintaining a commitment to exceptional service, and safeguarding the restaurant’s Michelin-starred reputation. The GM will oversee all aspects of the guest experience, financial performance, and operational management to deliver an unforgettable dining experience for a discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management

Manage daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination among front-of-house, kitchen, and support staff.

Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.

Provide strategic direction to maintain and enhance the restaurant’s Michelin 2-star status.
Guest Experience

Ensure an exceptional and personalized dining experience for every guest, from start to finish.

Respond promptly to guest feedback, resolving issues quickly while maintaining service quality standards.

Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience, ensuring consistent excellence.
Operational Excellence
-
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service throughout the restaurant.

Supervise inventory management while adhering to budget constraints.
-
Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to meet or exceed industry standards.

Oversee restaurant finances, including sales, costs, and profitability.
Financial & Commercial Management

Drive business performance through effective planning, marketing, and guest engagement strategies.

Collaborate with the ownership/management team to define long-term strategies supporting growth and profitability.

Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring budgets are respected while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with the French Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure the restaurant’s gastronomic vision and high standards are consistently upheld.

Maintain clear communication with all staff, management, and guests to ensure alignment with the restaurant’s objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.

In-depth knowledge of fine dining operations, exceptional guest service, and luxury hospitality.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Passion for cuisine, wine, and

hospitality, with meticulous attention to detail.

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with teams and guests.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

165,000 THB salary + 15,000 THB housing allowance (fully accommodated and fed), approx. 5,000 USD net all-inclusive, tax-free
