Job Description

 RHEA Recruitment, Hospitality and Restaurant Recruitment Agency is looking for


Prestigious address located in France, the first 4-star hotel of the French family group which already includes around thirty hotels DNA: Family-oriented, ecological, local, quality-conscious, and chic comfort. A one-star Michelin Guide restaurant


Reporting to the owner, the General Manager represents the entire establishment in the market.

The General Manager oversees operations in accordance with brand standards while maximizing financial performance, with a focus on customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, and fostering positive relationships with owners.

The General Manager develops the establishment’s strategy, implements and monitors the hotel’s financial and operational plan.

They are also responsible for managing their teams and building a constructive owner relationship.



Directly supervises all Department Heads and indirectly all talents of the establishment (60 PAX: kitchen, dining room, accommodation) in line with brand policies and development programs Leads by example and ensures the deployment and integration of service attitudes in line with brand standards Builds quality relationships among all managers Creates a team spirit within the establishment Creates a collaborative environment where talents are encouraged to propose and improve existing practices Ensures that rules and practices regarding employee and guest safety are implemented and respected, and monitors compliance


Establishes and maintains product and service quality standards and encourages talents to exceed customer expectations Ensures that all areas of the establishment are regularly maintained, clean, and in accordance with standards Welcomes VIPs and is knowledgeable about all reception protocols and care for this clientele


Develops short-term, medium-term, and long-term financial objectives in line with the brand strategy and establishment budget Develops business and activity, has good financial visibility, thinks about the future, and decides on strategic initiatives Speaks and represents the establishment and brand to various media outlets


Maximizes the financial performance of the establishment Monitors budgets, margins, and cost control for all departments of the establishment Participates in marketing, sales, and operational activities to produce results that meet and exceed the establishment’s business plan Ensures compliance with applicable legislation regarding fires, hygiene, recruitment, subcontracting, etc.

Very close to your clients, you use your interactions to share anecdotes about the establishment with them You provide personalized welcome and departure experiences and look for opportunities to surprise your clients during their stay A true ambassador of the establishment, you organize events related to the destination Previous experience in a resort or abbey Ideally, you have experience in a franchised or managed hotel and know how to build good relationships with small independent owners.


You have at least 10 years of experience in managing high-end or luxury hotels as a General Manager Embodies the three leadership models: Developer, Collaborator, and Entrepreneur Graduate of a hotel school Fluent in English and French Understanding/experience of social relations Experience in dealing with owners Must be strategic, creative, and able to communicate clearly and constructively Excellent oral skills as well as an innate sense of communication, excellent presentation Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability and flexibility with the ability to set high service goals and standards for the smooth operation of the hotel Quality-oriented, customer experience-oriented, detail-oriented, and a strong team spirit

Additional Information:

Executive status Position available mid-June 2024

Salary according to profile: 5500-6000 gross/month

Housing assistance to start with, followed by the opportunity to rent a privately owned house with a pool for a rent ranging between 800 and 900 euros.
