Job Description

RHEA, a recruitment firm specialized in the Hospitality and Restaurant industries, is looking for a Duty Manager / Front of House Manager for one of its clients, an exceptional luxury hotel estate located in Provence.

Located within a private ultra-luxury estate dedicated exclusively to VIP stays and events, comprising three luxurious houses and an apartment with a total of eighteen suites and rooms,

You will be responsible for the concierge activities and serve as the primary point of contact for guests during the absences of the House/Hospitality Manager. You will also supervise the Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and porter teams, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and staff well-being.

Reporting directly to the Hotel Department Management, you will guarantee the quality of all services and contribute directly to the estate’s image and reputation.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Reception

  • Provide personalized, high-quality service

  • Serve as the main contact for guests throughout their stay

  • Ensure guest comfort and anticipate their needs

Organization & Coordination

  • Manage client billing, follow up on quotes, services, and transportation

  • Assist with front/back of house preparation prior to guest arrivals

  • Supervise the recruitment and management of porters

  • Maintain effective communication through liaison books / daily logs

  • Track and organize team schedules and daily working hours

Operational Management

  • Implement and improve housekeeping procedures

  • Have an excellent knowledge of estate and regional activities to propose to guests

  • Coordinate all activities related to guest reception and stay

  • Ensure compliance with ERP (public building) standards


Skills & Qualifications

Professional Skills

  • Team management

  • Organization, planning, and prioritization

  • Fluency in English (other languages appreciated)

  • Proficiency in reservation and billing software (e.g., GHM)

Personal Qualities

  • Service-oriented with attention to detail and excellence

  • Impeccable presentation

  • Rigorous, precise, and reliable

  • Ability to work in a demanding environment


Candidate Profile

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in high-end hospitality/restaurants, in France and/or internationally

  • Education: CAP/BEP, BTS Hospitality, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality

  • Proven experience in operational management roles


Conditions

  • Contract type: 6-month fixed-term contract starting January 2026, followed by a permanent contract based on satisfactory results

  • Salary: Depending on experience (approx. €4,000 gross + bonus)

  • Location: Provence

  • Sector: High-end hospitality / private estate

  • Accommodation provided on-site initially, then a shared villa 15 minutes away by car for 5–6 weeks

  • Lunch or dinner included on working days
