Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a high-end hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for a Sous Chef (M/F) for a Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant in Paris.

-> The challenge is to aim for the second Michelin star.

The cuisine is modern and creative, focusing on inventive dishes made exclusively from fresh ingredients. The kitchen is open, with a beautiful tasting room in the basement.

You will join a team of 5 people in the kitchen. The Sous Chef assists the Head Chef in creating menus and fills in for the Head Chef in their absence.


  • Conduct culinary experiments and contribute to the development of the new menu
  • Communication with the team
  • Service and kitchen organization
  • Monitoring stocks and placing orders with suppliers
  • Receiving, checking, and storing goods
  • Ensuring product traceability (recording product labels and delivery notes)

You will ensure the constant cleanliness of the kitchen and maintenance of equipment, and perform the duties of the Head Chef in their absence (organizing preparations, etc.).

You are known for your creativity, rigor, dynamism, and ability to lead a team.

Hours: 4 split shifts 1 continuous/2.5 days off (Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday morning) Salary: €3000 Net + tips (significant) Position available ASAP or by August 20th

Closed for two weeks at Christmas, three weeks in August, and public holidays.
