Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a high-end hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is seeking:
SOUS-CHEF / DEPUTY CHEF (M/F)
1 Michelin Star Gastronomic Restaurant in Paris
→ A great opportunity to aim for the second Michelin star!
Modern and creative cuisine, inventive dishes made exclusively from fresh ingredients.
The kitchen is open, and there’s a beautiful tasting room in the basement.
You will be joining a kitchen team of 5 people.
The sous-chef assists the head chef in menu creation and takes over in their absence.
Responsibilities:

Test new dishes and participate in the development of new menus

Pass on instructions to the team

Service and plating
-
Monitor stock levels
-
Place orders with suppliers
-
Receive, check, and store deliveries
-
Ensure product traceability (record product labels and delivery notes)
You will maintain a clean kitchen and equipment, and ensure smooth operations when the head chef is away (organizing prep, etc.).
You are known for your creativity, discipline, energy, and strong team leadership skills.

Conditions:

Schedule: 4 split shifts, 1 straight shift / 2.5 days off (Sunday + Monday and Tuesday morning)

Salary: €3000 net + significant tips

Start date: early to mid-June
Closures: Two weeks at Christmas, three weeks in August, long weekends, etc.
