Job Description

RHEA, a recruitment agency specializing in the Hospitality and Culinary sectors, is looking for an Executive Sous-Chef for a 5* luxury hotel.

Location: Confidential (France)

This luxury property features around 40 rooms and suites.

For gourmets, the hotel offers three distinct restaurants, each providing a unique culinary experience, from refined local flavors to innovative gastronomic creations. Leisure spaces include two spectacular swimming pools, a luxurious spa, and terraces with breathtaking panoramic views.

This is a place where discreet refinement meets conviviality, ideal for exceptional stays, private events, or romantic getaways. The hotel’s philosophy is built on personalized service, attention to detail, and full immersion in an idyllic setting.

Hotel opening: Early April 2026

Candidate profile:

  • Experience as an Executive Sous-Chef in multiple outlets (minimum 2)

  • Experience as a Sous-Chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant (1 star sufficient)

  • Experience managing a brigade of around 40 people

  • Culinary skills in Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese (sushi), and Peruvian (ceviche) cuisine

Conditions:

  • Seasonal fixed-term contract (CDD)

  • Start date: March 23, 2026

  • End date: November 3, 2026

  • Salary: €4,050 gross per month

  • Accommodation may be available during the contract with a financial contribution
