Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, Hospitality and Catering Recruitment Agency, is currently seeking a
Pastry Sous Chef (M/F) – South West 5-star Hotel *****
Environment:
- A 80-seat restaurant, open only in the evening, Michelin challenge
- A bar/patio with 50 seating places open all day (average 120 covers/day)
- A swimming pool (snacking menu proposed)
- An events lounge (max 100 pax) + for the fall-winter season
Offering Tea time, Amenities, 4 desserts for the Michelin-targeted restaurant, and 4 desserts for the bar/patio.
Team: 3 pastry chefs (team to be built)
Top-notch working tool: the pastry lab is independent from the kitchen.
You will have complete autonomy on the site, working closely with the group’s executive pastry chef and the on-site head chef.
Responsibilities:
- Define preparations and ensure the instructions from technical sheets are followed, from methodology to presentation characteristics.
- Supervise services; he/she is a co-guarantor of the overall cohesion of the teams and their motivations.
- Demonstrated willingness to exchange ideas on pastry trials, tastings, the development of offerings, and activities.
Conditions:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Continuous service only
- Salary: €2500 net/month
- Accommodation provided during the trial period
- Permanent contract (CDI)
