Job Description

RHEA Recruitment is supporting a young Burgundy winemaker who is setting up and opening his brand-new restaurant in mid-October. He is looking for his future Head Chef for this unique venue.

The Restaurant:

  • 20 seats upstairs, kitchen and bar on the ground floor, plus a friendly terrace.

  • Concept: neo-fooding restaurant and chill wine bar with a short menu focused on local and seasonal products.

  • Warm, elegant, and authentic atmosphere where product quality is paramount.

Your Mission:

  • Create and execute a short, creative, seasonal menu highlighting local produce.

  • Work closely with the young winemaker and his team in a spirit of trust and collaboration.

The Team:

  • Small kitchen brigade: chef and one assistant/commis plus dishwasher.

Profile Sought:

  • Creative, autonomous chef, passionate about high-quality products and beautifully presented dishes.

  • Motivated to invest in a tailor-made project, join the adventure from the opening, and contribute to building a loyal clientele.

Conditions:

  • Working hours: lunch and dinner, Wednesday to Sunday (open on Sunday)

  • Days off: Monday and Tuesday

  • Working hours organized to maintain work-life balance.

  • Salary: €2,500–3,000 net/month.

  • Temporary housing available at the start.
