Job Description

RHEA, a recruitment agency specializing in Hospitality and Catering professions, is looking for a Sales Manager – Groups & Events for a high-end restaurant and event space in Paris.

About the Position:

Reporting to the Management, your mission will be to:

  • Develop the commercial activity for groups and private events (corporate clients, agencies, and individuals).

  • Optimize the occupancy rate of the restaurants and private spaces while building loyalty among Parisian and international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Groups & Event Development

  • Define and implement the commercial strategy for private events and group dining.

  • Prospect and develop a portfolio of high-end clients.

  • Negotiate and close contracts (group menus, private bookings, terms and conditions).

  • Showcase and promote the privatizable spaces to clients and partners.

  • Coordinate with operational teams to ensure flawless execution of events.

Individual Reservations & Occupancy

  • Manage and optimize reservation channels (platforms, conciergeries, partner hotels).

  • Develop strategic partnerships with concierges, agencies, and private sales platforms.

  • Implement targeted offers to increase bookings during low periods.

Commercial Administration & Monitoring

  • Monitor the activity budget and make adjustments as needed.

  • Ensure billing, payment follow-up, and client reminders.

  • Maintain dashboards (sales, forecasts, performance indicators).

  • Analyze results after each event and propose improvements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in business development within high-end restaurants, hospitality, or event management.

  • Proficiency in reservation and client management tools.

  • Ability to manage key accounts and a demanding individual clientele.

  • Strong service orientation, excellent communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Dynamic, autonomous, and proactive.

  • Professional level of English is required.

Performance Indicators:

  • Revenue generated from groups and private bookings.

  • Occupancy rate of restaurants and privatizable spaces.

  • Number and quality of partnerships established.

  • Client satisfaction after events.

Conditions:

  • Attractive compensation: €3,000 gross + 10% variable on collected revenue + annual bonus

  • Location: Paris

  • Contract: Permanent (CDI) – Executive Status
