Job Description

RHEA Recrutement, a hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for a
HEAD CHEF (M/F)West Paris

Wine bar restaurant open for the past 5 years, operating 6 days a week (closed on Sundays), part of a family-owned group with 4 restaurants in the 92 (Hauts-de-Seine) area.

The extras: a human-focused group that values environmental responsibility, seasonal products, access to local markets three times a week, short supply chains, and small producers.

The restaurant is open 6 days a week (closed Sundays), with 70 indoor seats across 3 rooms and 32 outdoor seats.
Carte blanche approach, small open-plan kitchen with a charcoal oven, and a cold room in the basement.
Average ticket: €50
Average covers: 60 for lunch and dinner

Team of 5 including the Head Chef (Sous-Chef, Chef de Partie, and 2 Commis/Dishwashers)

👉 Strong command of a charcoal oven is essential!

  • Solid experience in a similar role, or

  • A strong desire to take on your first Head Chef position.

You have experience in a similar type of venue and are known for your creativity, reliability, and energy.


🔧 CONDITIONS

  • Schedule: Mix of 3 full days and 2 split shifts (39h/week contract respected) – ideally 2 evening shifts and 3 mornings, or vice versa

  • Salary: €3000 net/month + performance bonuses – potential earnings of €3500 to €4000 net/month

  • Days off: 2 consecutive days – Sunday & Monday or Saturday & Sunday (your choice)

  • Start date: As soon as possible for a proper handover with the current chef

  • Annual closures: August 2–25, Christmas and New Year’s holidays
