Talented Executive Chef for a prestigious 4-star luxury hotel – confidential location in France
The property features several dining outlets, including a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The ambition is to achieve 2 Michelin stars.
Ideal Profile: We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef who has already worked in Michelin-starred establishments.
Your role will involve working closely with the Director of Restaurants & Bars, the Head Sommelier and the other department heads to uphold and enhance the reputation of this exceptional property.
About the property:
20 Rooms and Suites
60-seat fine-dining restaurant, open 5 days out of 7, with one Michelin star
100-seat upscale brasserie, open 7 days out of 7
Bar/Lounge and tasting cellar
Your responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all kitchen operations across the property, including the Michelin-starred restaurant, brasserie and bar/lounge. A dedicated Chef is in place for the brasserie.
Ensure the quality of all culinary offerings while maintaining the property’s standards
Lead a team of approximately 25 people, fostering a positive and motivating working environment, with further recruitment to be carried out
Develop menus in collaboration with the teams, showcasing creative and refined cuisine
Monitor costs, stock management and purchasing optimisation
Support, coach and train the teams to achieve the highest standards of culinary excellence
Key requirements:
Proven expertise in fine-dining and Michelin-starred cuisine is essential; experience in a 2-Michelin-starred restaurant would be highly desirable
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire teams
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal skills and polished presentation
Strong ability to collaborate effectively with other departments
Conditions:
Salary: depending on profile and experience
Management-level position
Two days off per week
