Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a high-end hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for a:

PASTRY CHEF (M/F) – Central Paris

On the occasion of the opening scheduled for July 1st, this new high-end French brasserie, open 7 days a week, will offer a dessert menu combining classics and revisited creations.

Environment:

  • Interior: 91 seats // Exterior: 60 seats
  • Average Ticket: 40 euros for lunch and 80 euros for dinner
  • You will need to train a team of 5-6 people
  • 2-3 people will be working alongside you during service

A new team is to be created (independent pastry lab fully equipped with its own oven, three workstations, and two freezers).

For the menu, the Pastry Chef has complete creative freedom. -> The idea is to design a short and evolving menu (one chocolate, one fruity, one seasonal dessert, and one special). The menu will include 3-4 desserts plus one or two homemade ice creams, mignardises, and brunch items. The weekend menu will be more international and family-oriented.

For the restaurant’s decor/ambiance: Thoumieux on Rue Saint Dominique, Beef Bar on Rue Marbeuf.

Profile: You are a passionate chef who loves to create and innovate with desserts. Passionate about your craft, you ensure the quality of the products. You also handle stock management. Are you ready to embark on an exciting adventure?

Benefits: Rest area available for staff, paid or compensated overtime, uniform provided by the company.

Conditions:

  • Schedule: Morning shifts only, from Tuesday to Saturday
  • Salary: 2300 euros net/month
  • Days off: Sunday & Monday
  • Position to be filled by June 17th at the latest
