Head Sommelier (M/F) – USA (confidential location)
This is a highly exclusive private establishment, catering to an elite and discerning clientele made up of influential and affluent individuals. The confidential club combines European elegance with Mediterranean culinary excellence in an exceptional setting. The working environment is both stimulating and demanding, featuring an impressive wine cellar of over 500 international labels, flawless service, and meticulous attention to detail. Members are among the most cultivated and demanding individuals in the world, requiring a calm, poised, and charismatic demeanor – the hallmark of a true leader.
Profile required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fine dining or luxury environments

Strong wine education background (WSET Level 3, CMS Level 2/3+ preferred)

Deep knowledge of wines from all major wine-producing regions (500+ label list, $1M inventory)

Charismatic and dynamic personality, excellent guest interaction skills

As the club has a European style with Mediterranean cuisine, a European sommelier is preferred (fluent English required)
This establishment seeks excellence: a highly motivated candidate with proven experience in five-star hotels, private clubs, or high-level fine dining restaurants. Conditions:

Base salary: $95,000 + bonus

H-2B visa sponsorship possible (the club operates 7 months a year, but this is a full-time position with remote work during the off-season; employer is committed to renewing the visa as needed)

Housing provided (2-bedroom apartment shared with another manager)

Transportation to and from the workplace is covered

Start date: ASAP (currently allow about 2 months for visa processing)
