Assistant Director – Paris
This 3-star hotel features 38 rooms, offering an elegant and contemporary atmosphere with refined décor and a warm setting. The establishment is appreciated for its central location, ideal for exploring Paris, as well as its comfort and intimate atmosphere. It is a popular choice for travelers seeking a cozy stay in a well-located spot in the capital.
The hotel adopts an eco-responsible approach by implementing several sustainable initiatives. It collaborates with the Surfrider Foundation Europe to fight plastic pollution, offers a breakfast with local and plastic-free products, and supports the professional integration of people with disabilities in partnership with Café Joyeux. The hotel has also installed water fountains to reduce plastic usage. These actions reflect its commitment to the environment and sustainable development.
The Group: A collection of 8 chic and elegant properties located in Paris, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Marseille, and Nice.
You will be responsible for managing a 38-room hotel in Paris and overseeing a team of 10 to 15 people across reception, housekeeping, and breakfast operations.
Your main mission: Ensure the well-being of your teams and the satisfaction of your clients, while maintaining proper management of the premises and their cleanliness.
Profile sought:
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in hospitality, particularly in team management. International experience would be a plus. You must be proficient in English, basic computer tools, and HACCP standards.
Your responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Recruitment, training, and daily management of the team
- Organizing and managing schedules
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Leading meetings and activities to strengthen team cohesion
Customer Relations:
- Ensuring the quality of service and customer experience
- Managing complaints and proposing solutions to improve customer satisfaction
Commercial Development:
- Contributing to the commercial strategy and prospecting new clients
- Negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with existing clients
Operational Management:
- Handling administrative and accounting tasks
- Monitoring the budget and expenses
- Collaborating with headquarters (HR, accounting, digital marketing, etc.)
Key Skills:
- Organization and priority management
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Attention to detail and rigor
