RHEA Recruitment, a recruitment agency specializing in hospitality and catering, is looking for one of its clients:

HEAD CHEF (M/F) – Franche-Comté Region

A magnificent 14th-century castle owned by a family, including a golf course, a restaurant open for lunch and dinner from Thursday to Sunday, and lounges. The property extends over a vast and beautiful 80-hectare park. Ideally located close to Switzerland and Alsace (TGV at 2 hours 40 minutes from Paris).

The estate allows for the organization of high-end events, unique in this region, for professional and private clients, in an intimate or large group setting. The concept delivers exclusively business events (seminars, conferences, team building), family events (weekend celebrations, weddings, birthdays), events (parties, dinner concerts, private stays (wellness, groups, and family), and private events/16 rooms. A place concerned about its environmental and local impact (the owner is a yoga coach, producing her own infusions from the beautiful available vegetable garden).


Objectives: Showcase local products and create comforting and traditional cuisine. The culinary offer for events is a significant part of the activity, requiring particular expertise in this specificity. Additionally, the establishment is in partnership with a recognized domain that offers accommodations in treehouses (in the heart of nature) -> cold culinary offer to provide.

Missions: Passionate about your profession, you are responsible for the quality of products and food preparation (3 Starters, 3 Main Courses, 3 Desserts).

Team: a chef + a sous chef and a diver

You have carte blanche for the dishes and will be in perfect autonomy in this position with your sous chef and dishwasher -> on average 40 covers per day (there are 40 seats in the restaurant).

You also ensure the follow-up of your stocks and manage your orders.

You are recognized for your creativity, rigor, dynamism, and your human ability to connect with various group collaborators.


Fixed-term contract: from mid-March/April to mid/late October.

Accommodation available during the trial period (apartment in the castle on two floors). Idyllic working environment. Motivating salary: 3200-3500 net/month.
