A French group is seeking in SHANGHAI for its Michelin-starred restaurant In direct collaboration with the Executive Chef, you will closely work with the head chef on the development and execution of desserts.
Profile:
Supervision of a team of 9 people Responsible for preparing desserts, petit fours, and cakes for menu changes each season (bringing creativity and a signature touch) Ability to work with chocolate Control the preparations according to the house standards Participate in the preparation and service Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards and monitor HACCP / Avoid wastage Be responsible for your brigade Have good listening and communication skills Be rigorous and highly organized Have a strong sense of initiative and opportunity Have a unifying spirit and excellent communication skills Have teaching skills Have recognized managerial abilities
This position requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a sous pastry chef, successful previous experience in upscale establishments (luxury hospitality / gourmet restaurants – Michelin-starred establishments) in France, and ideally a first experience abroad.
This position is for experienced professionals, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience for obtaining the visa, committed and ambitious professionals willing to invest for the long term.
Working conditions: Permanent contract Hours: 2pm/11pm or split shift Residence + work visa Salary: 3500 to 4000 euros net/month
