RHEA, a recruitment agency specializing in Hospitality and Catering, is hiring for the position of

Head Sommelier (M/F) in Paris A 5-star hotel, comprising 50 rooms and suites, a spa, bar, and neo-bistronomic restaurant, this establishment embodies Parisian chic.

As the Head Sommelier of this bistronomic restaurant, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and managing wine stocks (600 references)
  • Analyzing sales to replenish stocks
  • Advising clients and serving wines
  • Contributing to customer loyalty and development through professionalism
  • Participating in restaurant service
  • Conducting inventories
  • Receiving and inspecting deliveries
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the wine list
  • Taking orders and suggesting choices based on consumed dishes
  • Developing a commercial policy tailored to the clientele
  • Cleaning premises and equipment
  • Completing end-of-service operations for the sommellerie and restaurant (tidying up, preparing for the next service)


  • Educational background: BTS in Hotel and Catering, MC in Sommellerie, WSET Level 3
  • Professional experience: 1 year in sommellerie; experience in a bar would be appreciated
  • Fluent in French and English


  • Full-time permanent contract – 39 hours per week
  • Continuous working hours only
  • 50% reimbursement of public transportation subscriptions
