Assistant Manager (M/F) in Paris

The restaurant operates 7 days a week, providing a warm ambiance resembling a winter garden with a central bar, a restaurant, and private lounges.

The service team consists of 15 members in winter and up to 25 in summer. 1 modular private lounge for up to 14 guests 1 winter garden for 50 guests 1 summer garden for 50 guests 1 main dining hall for 50 guests Average covers: 90 for lunch in winter and 150 for lunch in summer Between 40 and 60 covers for dinner in winter and between 80 and 110 covers for dinner in summer Lunch average spending: €60, Dinner average spending: €100 Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, except for Saturday lunch in winter and every Sunday evening in winter/summer.

Responsibilities: Reporting to the restaurant’s floor manager, the Assistant Manager actively participates in service and supports the daily operations of the establishment. They manage the service team, handling both organizational aspects and administrative follow-up. This includes employee scheduling, performance tracking, and fostering a strong team spirit. The Assistant Manager also ensures compliance with regulatory standards and implements control measures.

The Assistant Manager is involved in the implementation of the establishment’s commercial action plan. They control costs, define and monitor performance indicators to optimize revenue. Additionally, they focus on customer satisfaction, implementing loyalty and training initiatives. Administrative tasks and public relations management may also be part of the role.

This position requires organizational skills, leadership, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a strong sense of service.

Required Skills: • Team management (Managers, head waiters, runners, etc.) • Ensure the proper appearance of the establishment and staff • Knowledge of current standards and their enforcement • Identify areas for improvement to increase revenue • Build customer loyalty • Administrative tasks: Employee scheduling using the Skello software, permanent and temporary contracts if needed. • Proficiency in various restaurant software:   – Skello (scheduling)   – Pointex (order-taking tool… if necessary, training provided)   – Zenchef (reservation management) • Implementation of menu changes: in collaboration with chefs, drafting menu explanations, updating allergen information, and communication to the service team. • Management of end-of-service cash registers • Participation in recruitment


  • Permanent contract, evening shifts only
  • Days off: Sunday & Monday
  • Salary: €3000-€3400 gross/month depending on profile
