Job Description
RHEA Recruitment, a consultancy specialized in Hospitality and Catering roles, is currently seeking:
Head Bartender (M/F) – Paris
Lifestyle boutique hotel with 40 rooms and multiple bars within this elegant and exclusive property.
A team of 18 people manages 3 bars: a main bar open from morning to night, a service bar, and an event bar open only in the evenings.
🎯 Main Responsibilities

Understand the layout and functions of the bars

Supervise, recruit, train, and support the bar teams
-
Have strong knowledge of service techniques, products, and cocktail recipes (signatures, classics, creations)

Contribute ideas for cocktail creation and suggestions, with a good understanding of various spirits and alcohols
-
Ensure service standards and guest experience meet the expectations of the company
-
Accurately transmit customer orders to the appropriate bars; understand and anticipate customer needs and report feedback to management
-
Act as a coordinator between teams
-
Plan ingredient and equipment orders based on stock and needs
-
Oversee weekly and end-of-month inventories; estimate future equipment needs and place orders if necessary
-
Ensure stock inventory is done every Sunday; reconcile stock and follow up with daily and weekly reports
-
Be responsible for beverage cost control and pricing of drinks menu
-
Input recipes, stocks, and inventories into the software (Adaco)
-
Coordinate with technical services and/or external suppliers for equipment maintenance
-
Develop and implement bar procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP hygiene and safety standards
-
Have excellent knowledge of HACCP standards and dietary regulations
-
Conduct safety and technical checks, including daily temperature logs
-
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
-
Be a motivating leader and handle problem-solving
-
Monitor departmental budgets, track costs and expenditures
-
Manage team schedules based on business activity, events, absences, and payroll/HR documentation
-
Promote cooperation and respect between front-of-house and bar teams and other departments
-
Be comfortable speaking in public and maintain good relationships with staff and guests
-
Stay informed about current trends and bar-related concepts
-
Proficient in IT (MS Office, POS, restaurant management software, Micros, Adaco, etc.)

Know suppliers, prices, offers, research new suppliers, and negotiate rates
-
Organize and ensure smooth operations during shifts
-
Guarantee customer satisfaction at all times and support the operational team as needed
-
Explain performance numbers (costs and revenues) daily, weekly, and monthly
-
Prepare onboarding plans for new hires (trainings, uniform, assign a buddy, etc.)

Report client feedback and staff comments to management and suggest improvements and solutions

📆 Job Details

Salary: €4,000 gross/month depending on profile
-
Contract: Full-time, permanent (CDI)
-
Work schedule: 218 days/year, fixed-rate executive contract

Additional benefits:

Clothing bonus: €200 twice a year

Uber reimbursement after 12:30 AM (between €12 and €16)

Seniority bonus starting at 2 years

Paid day off for birthday after one year of service
