Job Description

RHEA Recruitment is looking for an Operations Manager (M/F) for 3 concept restaurants in Paris!

Our client: Three restaurants located in three different districts of Paris, distinguished by a unique “Friendly” concept, focused on travel and a warm atmosphere. Hospitality and enjoyment are the key values. You will join a dynamic team of 90 people, working in close collaboration with the operations management (in a duo) to continue developing the brand’s DNA (a growing group with an upcoming opening in London).


Key Responsibilities:

PLANNING AND WORK ORGANIZATION
As the Operations Manager, you will regularly work at the different locations with the operational teams to ensure the quality of our practices and maintain consistency. You will be responsible for ensuring that each site adheres to our quality standards in order to provide the best possible experience for our clients.

  • Propose, develop, and implement strategies and action plans to achieve the objectives.

  • Develop, implement, and assess the establishment’s policies and procedures.

  • Analyze activity, prospecting, and sales reports in connection with the kitchen, and discuss them with the site managers.

STAFF AND WORK MANAGEMENT
You will contribute to the development of an HR strategy in collaboration with the HR team and will be responsible for:

  • Participating in recruitment, hiring, welcoming, and training the staff.

  • Supervising and providing support to the teams across the various sites regularly.

  • Conducting performance evaluations.

  • Stimulating motivation and solidarity within the teams by creating a positive working environment.

  • Overseeing all activities (kitchen cleanliness, handling equipment and food, ensuring quality standards, etc.).

  • Inspecting workstations daily and ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and health standards.

MANAGING FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL RESOURCES
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s budget and:

  • Preparing budgets and ensuring cost control.

  • Overseeing the smooth running of operations in tandem with the Director of Operations (DOP).

  • Managing payroll processes, accounts payable and receivable, in collaboration with other relevant departments.

  • Managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating supplies.

  • Purchasing and maintaining equipment, based on operational needs and allocated budgets.


Profile Requirements:

  • Ideally, you hold a qualification in hospitality or catering (BTS, CAP, BEP in hotel and restaurant management, BTS hospitality, vocational or technical diploma in catering).

  • You have 5 to 8 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry in a managerial role, including experience in supervision and management.

  • You have prior management experience in a similar role.

  • You are fluent in English, and a second foreign language is a plus.

  • You are versatile and enjoy handling multiple tasks simultaneously.


Position Start: ASAP
Salary: 3500 EUR net per month to start
Status: Executive position
