About the Role
RHEA Recruitment, a specialized agency in hospitality and catering, is looking for a Hotel Manager to lead a 3-star hotel with 27 rooms, which also serves as a chef’s residence during the summer.

Located in a beautiful 19th-century mansion, the hotel combines elegance and warmth, offering refined decor and a welcoming atmosphere. Ideally situated, it boasts breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the beach and city center. Its comfortable rooms and attentive service make it a sought-after destination for a peaceful stay on the Basque coast.

The hotel follows an eco-friendly approach, implementing various sustainable initiatives. It collaborates with Surfrider Foundation Europe to combat plastic pollution, offers a locally sourced, plastic-free breakfast, and supports the professional integration of people with disabilities in partnership with Café Joyeux. Additionally, the hotel has installed water fountains to reduce plastic use, further demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

About the Group
A collection of eight chic and elegant properties located across Paris, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Marseille, and Nice.

As Hotel Manager, you will lead a team of 10 to 15 people (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and kitchen) and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel, focusing on guest satisfaction and team well-being.

Your main mission will be to provide an exceptional guest experience, uphold high operational standards, and steer the hotel with a strategic and commercial vision.


Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Recruitment, training, and supervision of staff.
  • Planning and scheduling team shifts.
  • Daily supervision of operations and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Organizing team-building activities and monthly staff meetings.

Guest Experience & Commercial Development

  • Ensuring high-quality service and an outstanding guest experience.
  • Developing and optimizing the hotel’s commercial offering to increase revenue.
  • Managing guest complaints and implementing solutions to improve satisfaction.

Administrative & Financial Management

  • Budget and expense management.
  • Administrative and accounting oversight.
  • Developing partnerships for the chef’s residence program.
  • Collaborating with headquarters teams (HR, accounting, revenue management, digital marketing).

Ideal Profile

  • Proven experience in hospitality, with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in basic IT tools.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and team-oriented.

Conditions & Benefits

📅 Position: Operations Manager (CDI – permanent contract), evolving to Hotel Manager (cadre status) from April 1, 2026.
Work Schedule: 42h/week, with Sunday & Monday off.
💰 Salary: €3,300–€3,500 gross/month (excluding meal allowances), increasing to €3,900 gross/month from April 2026.
📆 Start Date: Between April 1 and April 10, 2025.
