Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency internationally, is seeking for one of its clients

HEAD WAITER/WAITRESS (M/F) for a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant in Bangkok owned by a Group recognized in several countries

The goal is to achieve 3 Michelin stars, the restaurant is only open for dinner 6/7 days (closed on Mondays)

Professional Experience: Confirmed experience in managing high-end restaurants, preferably in Michelin-starred establishments or world-renowned gastronomic establishments. Previous experience as a head waiter/waitress, maître d’hôtel, or assistant restaurant manager may be required.

Education and Qualifications: Degree or certification in hotel management, restaurant management, or related field. In-depth knowledge of superior quality service standards and Michelin-starred restaurant management protocols.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff to maintain exceptional service standards. Personnel management skills, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Operational Management Skills: Mastery of daily restaurant operations, including reservation management, scheduling, inventory and supply management, and cost control. Ability to quickly resolve operational issues and make effective decisions to ensure smooth restaurant operation.

Customer Orientation: Commitment to excellence in customer service and ability to anticipate and respond to customer needs. Ability to maintain and promote a welcoming and refined atmosphere for guests.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably in multiple languages, to effectively interact with staff and international clientele. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers.

Gastronomy Knowledge: Passion for gastronomy and in-depth knowledge of current culinary trends. Ability to advise customers on menus, wine pairings, and provide personalized recommendations.

Financial Management: Understanding of basic principles of financial management, including budgeting, food and labor cost management, and financial statement analysis.

Results Orientation: Ability to set performance goals for the restaurant and work proactively to achieve and exceed these goals. Ability to monitor and evaluate restaurant performance and implement initiatives to improve results.

Adaptability and Stress Management: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and effectively manage the stress and pressure associated with managing a high-end restaurant.


French / 2 to 3 minimum in Michelin star level 2 and 3 stars

Salary: Approximately 105,000 THB (2,655-2750 euros net) House allowance 15,000 THB (300-400 euros) Total approximately 3,000€

15 days of vacation + 15 public holidays for the year

6 working days per week
