Job Description

RHEA, a recruitment agency specialized in the Hospitality and Restaurant sectors, is seeking a Business Developer (newly created position) in Paris.

A luxury event caterer specialized in fashion, luxury, and beauty sectors, with over six years of experience, the company has established a strong reputation by working with the biggest houses (LVMH, Kering, haute couture, etc.) on prestigious events such as fashion shows, product launches, private dinners, and exclusive experiences.

The company’s foundation is built on exceptional expertise and a strong reputation mainly based on word-of-mouth. Its ambition is to continue its growth, structure its commercial development, and expand its product range. With a focus on diversification, the company is also looking to strengthen its presence in strategic venues and participate in major events in the sector.

The laboratory is located to the east of Paris in a 1,500 m² space, which includes a professional kitchen, a logistics warehouse, and offices. The company also owns a reception apartment at Place Vendôme, where it organizes client testings, VIP meetings, and private events.

In this dynamic and ambitious context, the company is creating a strategic Commercial Manager – Business Developer position to strengthen its commercial development.

The Position:

The Commercial Manager is truly the ambassador of the brand. This key role involves developing and structuring the commercial strategy, identifying and seizing business opportunities, and managing and retaining prestigious clients. The role requires close collaboration with the founder of the company to support its expansion.

The main responsibilities are divided into two key areas:

  1. Hunting & Development → Identify and convert good business opportunities
  2. Farming & Retention → Develop and maintain long-term client relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy to grow the company’s presence in the luxury sector and increase the client portfolio
  • Prospect new clients (brands, agencies, event venues)
  • Develop strategic partnerships and obtain references with prestigious venues
  • Structure and manage the lead pipeline and business opportunities
  • Implement tools for optimal lead management and follow-up
  • Ensure regular reporting and performance analysis
  • Represent the company at key events in the sector

Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial role, ideally in event management, luxury, or high-end gastronomy
  • Ability to structure and implement an effective commercial approach
  • Excellent relational skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Proficient with CRM tools, reporting, and sales processes
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of the expectations and codes of high-end brands

This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced Business Developer to contribute to the growth of a fast-developing company and participate in major projects in the luxury and event sectors.

Conditions:

  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Working hours: From 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Days off: 2 days per week off: Saturday and Sunday, except in exceptional cases (paid or compensated).
  • Executive contract.
  • Salary: 2000 euros net/month (2600 gross) plus uncapped commission of 1.5% on new contracts that meet pricing guidelines and validated processes → paid quarterly + 13th month.
  • Benefits: 11 annual recovery days, 10 public holidays, lunch meals, and executive health insurance.
  • Vacation: Company closed for 10 days during Christmas (December 22nd to January 5th) and 3 weeks in summer (July 20th to August 15th).
