Job Description

RHEA, a specialized recruitment agency in the Hospitality and Restaurant industry, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Executive Chef (H/F) for one of our prestigious clients in Paris.

Nestled in the heart of the capital, this hotel, resembling a Small Palace, is renowned for its excellence and offers luxurious accommodations.

Primary Goal: Maintain the Michelin star and aim for the Green star; potentially achieving a second Michelin star, although not the primary objective.

The gastronomic restaurant, awarded a Michelin star, serves refined, modern, and creative cuisine. The menu is concise, with frequent changes, offering three starters, three main courses, and three desserts. Additionally, a lunch menu is available at 60 euros (starter and main or main and dessert). Average check for lunch: 100 euros, and 200 euros for dinner. The restaurant accommodates a maximum of 6 tables with 16-20 covers, with the last order taken at 21:30.

Responsibilities: As an Executive Chef (H/F), you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Define the menu and establish technical sheets to be validated by the group’s executive chef
  • Oversee the preparation of dishes and manage the kitchen’s expeditious service
  • Participate in the recruitment of kitchen staff (potentially a sous chef and/or pastry chef) and ensure their training on their respective positions
  • Manage supplies, orders, and product costs in accordance with quality standards

Profile: To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar high-level establishment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on customer expectations and experience
  • A compelling culinary identity and creative spirit
  • Good leadership skills to manage a small team (5 staff) and impart your expertise
  • Adaptability to a relatively compact workspace (renovation work is planned for a more ergonomic kitchen)


  • Working hours: Split shifts
  • Salary: 5600 gross/month plus 5% monthly on F&B (500 euros gross/month), tips, and discount card (theme parks, shops, cinemas)
  • Days off: Two consecutive days on Sunday and Monday
  • Starting date: As soon as possible
