RHEA Recruitment, a specialized agency in high-end hospitality and restaurant recruitment, is looking internationally for:

HEAD CHEF (M/F) – Caribbean


We are collaborating with an independent French group in high-end catering, located in the Caribbean and the United States. Known for its joyful and elegant atmosphere, as well as its refined cuisine with Peruvian and Latin American influences, the group is led by a committed owner who is also the executive chef and intervenes regularly in its establishments.


  • Semi-gourmet restaurant open 7/7 in high season and 6/7 in low season, ideally located and open only in the evening (2/3 services)
  • Seating capacity of 90 places
  • Average ticket: 200 euros
  • Closure in September and October
  • Kitchen team: 14 people in high season (45 people in total, including the bar, the dining room, and the kitchen)
  • Composition of the kitchen team: 1 Chef + 2 sous-chefs + 6/7 Chefs de Partie (CDP), including a pastry chef, + 2-3 commis and 3 dishwashers

Your mission:

  1. Creativity: Bring your expertise to evolve the menu, respecting the restaurant’s philosophy and in collaboration with the general management.
  2. Kitchen Management: Lead all kitchen activities, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, and managing stocks optimally.
  3. Team Management: Inspire and develop a team of professionals, fostering their growth and creating a positive work environment.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent and high-quality dishes.
  5. Financial Management: Oversee costs to maximize kitchen profitability, both for raw material purchases and staff payroll.

Profile sought:

  • Native of Peru, Mexico, or France, with a degree in cuisine specializing in fusion/Peruvian cuisine or confirmed experience as a Chef de Cuisine in high-end establishments with fusion, Peruvian, and Latin American orientation.
  • Passion for this type of cuisine, creativity, and strong managerial skills.
  • Mastery of HACCP standards and experience in managing a high-end kitchen.

The establishment offers:

  • Competitive remuneration of 4500 euros/month, adapted to your expertise and experience, with tips reaching up to 4500 euros/month during the high season.
