Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for a CHEF DE CUISINE (M/F) for a West Paris location.

This wine bar restaurant has been open for 5 years, operating 6/7 days (closed on Sundays), and belongs to a family-owned group (4 restaurants in the 92 area).

The plus: A human-focused group, environmentally conscious, seasonal menu, the possibility of shopping three times a week, short supply chains, and small local producers.

The restaurant is open 6/7 days (closed on Sundays), with 70 indoor seats (3 rooms) and 32 outdoor seats.
The kitchen is open-plan with a wood-fired oven and a cold room in the basement.

Average ticket: €50
Average covers: 60 at lunch and dinner.

The team consists of 5 people, including the chef (brigade: 1 sous chef, 1 chef de partie, 2 commis and dishwashers).
A strong understanding of using a wood-fired oven is essential.

Conditions:

  • Hours: Mixed shifts: 3 continuous shifts and 2 split shifts (39-hour contract respected). Ideally, 2 evening shifts and 3 morning shifts or vice versa.
  • Salary: €3000 net per month, with bonuses bringing the total to €3500-4000 net per month.
  • Days off: 2 consecutive days (Sunday and Monday or Saturday and Sunday, your choice).
  • Start date: As soon as possible to ensure a smooth handover with the current chef.
  • Closed: August, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
