Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, Hospitality and Catering Recruitment Agency is looking for a Junior Pastry Chef (M/F).

 5***** Hotel, ideally located in the South West region.

Environment: A restaurant with 80 seats, open only in the evening offering a gourmet menu. A bar/patio with 50 seats open all day (average of 120 guests per day). A swimming pool (with a snacking menu). An event lounge (max 100 pax) + for the autumn-winter season.

Offer tea time, amenities, 4 desserts for the restaurant, and 4 desserts for the bar/patio.

Goal to achieve a Michelin star.

Team of 2/3 pastry chefs in low season and 4 in high season -> pastry lab is independent from the kitchen.

You will be in full autonomy on site, working closely with the executive pastry chef and the head chef.

Responsibilities: You define preparations and ensure compliance with technical sheets from methodology to presentation characteristics. You also manage your stocks and handle your orders…

You are recognized for your creativity, rigor, dynamism, and your ability to liaise with various team members.

Conditions: Starting date: ASAP Schedule: continuous only Salary: 2500 – 2700 net/month plus a food allowance of 150 euros/month Accommodation negotiable during the trial period Permanent contract (CDI)
