“Head Back of the House” / DOP / GM (M/F) in San Francisco
The concept DNA is primarily based on Comfort Food with three main axes: Bakery, Kitchen, and Food Market (present in 20 markets across the Bay Area of San Francisco).
The idea is to bring novelty without revolutionizing things!!
Simplicity and efficiency are the keywords!!
You will work in tandem with the French Executive Chef and report to the owner and founder of the group. You are responsible for the successful operation of sales points from Menlo Park to Palo Alto.
You will contribute to the group’s development. Currently, there is a production lab for the bakery part, a restaurant in Menlo Park where you need to prepare for its opening as soon as possible (starting with breakfast and lunch formats, then evening service 7/7), and another restaurant is opening in the first quarter in Palo Alt. In the third stage, there is a plan to open another communal space within a food market concept (similar to Felicita in Paris).
The challenge is to break the norms to create a new model designed for and by the teams, supporting them daily to evolve in a fulfilling work environment.

Training & Management of teams
Recruitment management (growing structure) with the support of the Executive Chef
Communication of objectives and news
Operational Excellence:
Ensure the efficient operation of sales points
Responsible for the customer experience
Main contact for all support functions to deploy action plans and report malfunctions
P&L responsibility
Key Missions:
Manage all activities of beverage and food sales points
Ensure effective communication between all points of sale and other services (production, kitchen, dining room, delivery service, and market sellers)
Recruit, manage, train, and ensure the professional development of the restaurant/points of sale team
Ensure brand standards are maintained
Encourage team members to optimize sales and revenue
Conduct annual and mid-year evaluations with your superiors
Assess guest satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement
Optimize sales and contain costs by identifying areas that require intervention
Set achievable short and long-term functional goals for each point of sale
Manage staff performance issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
Ensure all points of sale are well-maintained
Assist other departments as needed and maintain good working relationships
Perform other related tasks at the request of the Executive Chef and/or owner
Profile:
To successfully carry out this mission, we are looking for someone:
With over 5 years of experience in team management and managing fast-food units
Multi-site experience and/or experience in the delivery market are highly valued
Proficient in English (mandatory), and Spanish is a plus
Proactive, organized, with a team spirit and a strong penchant for hands-on work

Conditions:
Salary: Between 90K for a junior profile and 120/130K for an experienced profile.
Package: Visa/plane/health paid by the company. Potentially, housing assistance depending on the profile.
Contract CDD E2 or O1 -> a long-term desire (ideally already holding a green card or work visa)
