RESTAURANT MANAGER (M/F) – Southwest
International luxury group comprising a portfolio of exceptional hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs worldwide across three continents.
Domain located in the southwest of France. Formerly the private holiday property of a very wealthy family, the property has been transformed into a luxury hotel and has entrusted this prestigious hotel management brand for the past few months. The hotel features a renowned art gallery, a signature restaurant, a wellness area built around the original mill’s works, a floating tennis court, a thermal pool house, and charming rooms on several floors arranged in restored 18th-century barns.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of the Restaurant department, ensuring the highest service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience and boost revenue.
• Oversee daily operations of breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards.
Banquets and Events:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquets, weddings, and special events held on the estate.
• Collaborate with event planners and clients to create customized catering packages.
• Work closely with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menus in line with estate standards and client expectations.
• Regularly review and update menus to reflect seasonal offerings and culinary trends.
• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training as needed.
• Monitor and control food and beverage costs through effective inventory management and cost analysis.
• Implement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Interact with customers to ensure their satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or feedback.
• Implement customer-focused initiatives to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Proven experience as a restaurant manager in a luxury hotel or high-end gastronomic establishment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of dining trends, culinary techniques, and menu planning.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in restaurant management.
Salary: The package is €45,000 / year, gross salary, including the 13th month. As part of this package, accommodation could be provided at the Domaine for this position.
Days off: 2 consecutive days off
