Job Description

RHEA Recruitment, a high-end hospitality and restaurant recruitment agency, is looking for a Sous Chef (M/F) in Paris.

DNA: Gastronomic restaurant with Vegetal influences open from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner only. Restaurant aiming for a Michelin star and well-referenced.

Average of 20/30 covers per service, beautiful Teamwork, 6-course menu, open kitchen.

Reporting to the Restaurant Chef, he/she supervises all kitchen activities.

· The Junior Sous Chef of this restaurant assists the Chef and ensures the smooth running of kitchen operations. He/she collaborates with the Chef in menu creation, supplier selection, receiving and checking supplies, in compliance with hygiene standards. Actively involved in daily operations, he/she ensures communication and performance of team members (4 staff including the dishwasher). Through leadership and managerial skills, he/she supports the Restaurant Chef in fostering and maintaining team spirit and creates a strong sense of belonging.


· Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt service and quality of dishes presented. · Contribute to the restaurant’s reputation in collaboration with the Chef. · Contribute to the creation, planning, and preparation of menus for the restaurant. · Conduct kitchen inspections. · Participate in, monitor, and control the service setup. · Ensure smooth service operation. · Assist in developing team members. · Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety standards at work. · Communicate and collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth overall restaurant operations. · Perform any other duties deemed essential for the kitchen’s smooth operation. · Regularly check preparations to ensure quality.


· You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in establishments that manage quality dining, and you are accustomed to handling volume. · You have knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and its products.

Conditions: Net salary €2400 + tips Hours: 5 continuous evening shifts only Days off: Sunday and Monday Position to be filled: 10/05
